Tag der offenen Tür der Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien
Programm vor Ort und Online
At the Open House the Angewandte opens its doors and is aimed at everyone who wants to get to know the courses on offer at the Angewandte or simply wants to take a look behind the scenes – into the studios, workshops and departments of the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Students and teachers give insights into everyday university life and an information programme on site and online provides the opportunity for exchange on the study programmes. Next Open House on 4 November 2025 – Detailed information on the programme from autumn 2025!
About the visit
From 10 am to 6 pm, students and faculty are in the studios to give their personal insight into daily university life. The various workshops, which are an important part of teaching and research, can also be visited from 10 am to 4 pm. An information programme, both on-site and online, offers the opportunity to exchange about the study programmes. During the Open House other study-related facilities and current exhibitions in the University Gallery at Heiligenkreuzerhof, at AIL, and at the Applied/Experimental Sound Research Lab in Rustenschacherallee will be open to visitors too.
At the Infopoint in Vordere Zollamtsstraße, there will be a brief introduction and overview of the university every hour on the hour. At 10 am and 2 pm, there will be an introduction to the study programmes at the university by Brigitte Felderer (Vice-Rector for Studies, Teaching, and Diversity) at the Infopoint.
Also the tours through the main university buildings start from the Infopoint on the ground floor of Vordere Zollamtsstraße 7. No prior registration is required for participation.
For those who can’t visit the Open House in person, online info sessions will be offered. All Zoom sessions and their respective links can be found in the programme or in the study information section.
